The Best DM Advice Ever

What is the best dungeon master advice ever? It's quite simple:

Run lots of sessions. Think about each session, and try to fix one thing that went wrong the next time you run a game.
 
I know it's boring but that's it. That's the best DM advice ever. 

How do you put it into practice? Run a session, and after it's over, think about any time the players were confused, or when you got muddled, or the pace bogged down. Run another session and see if you can fix one of the problems.

Again, that's it. It is the same as the purposeful practice idea in sports. Do something. Identify a problem. Do the thing again attempting to fix the problem. Then repeat ad nauseam.
