Survey
Hey guys, here's another survey. It's short with only a few questions. I know I've done two surveys this year already, but I truly want to learn how to serve you better. Thank you in advance!

Quick DM Tip
Use characters' backstories as the focus of the campaign or as hooks to get your players engaged in an overarching campaign idea. Is one character searching for their long-lost sister? Is another trying to solve their father's murder? Did another character run away from home?
Good. Use all of those ideas to increase player engagement.
First, you can make one of those the actual aim of the entire campaign. Then the other backstories could intersect with the main one at different times. In this case, one player will be highly invested and the others will get spotlights along the way.
Second, if you have a campaign idea already, you can weave the backstories into it to ensure the players bite on all your hooks. Who knows where the long-lost sister is? The villain you want to introduce. Where is the father's murderer? In the city you want the players to explore. And so on.
Keep Gaming!
