Inspiration for RPG campaigns is all around us. Most game masters, of course, have more campaign ideas than they could ever hope to run. What game masters usually need, however, are encounters and situations to flesh out the sessions within their campaigns.
Ideas for these encounters and situations are everywhere. TV shows, books, movies, podcasts, and real history provide fertile material for RPG campaigns. I've made a video about mining these sources and written a blog post on the topic as well—not to mention numerous podcast episodes about using real history.
Look around you. What are you reading? What are you watching? What are you listening to? Use them as inspiration.

I’ve started a collection of D&D 2024 character sheets as I do with most RPGs. Most are free or PWYW on the DMs Guild.
